This scent evokes the feeling of stepping onto the sun-kissed soil of Los Angeles, brushing past tomato vines, and inhaling that wild, green fragrance only a garden of resistance can hold.

Rooted in the legacy of the tomato, or tomatl in Nahuatl, this candle honors the plant’s indigenous origins that begin in South America, where it was first cultivated and carried north through Central America and into Mexico where it was domesticated. A story of migration thousands of years before colonization.
